The Baobab Tree

Baobab is a superfruit with extraordinary nutritional content and is the only fruit in the world that dries naturally on its branch. The fruit grows inside a velvety pod and is about the size of a small coconut. It is 100% natural, raw wholefood with no additives or preservatives. We simply harvest and mill the pulp into powder.

The baobab tree, also known as the tree of life, is indigenous to Africa and Australia. Growing wild in the African Savannah, the baobab is a prehistoric tree that is highly adaptable to its environment. During the rainy season it absorbs and stores water in its trunk, enabling it to produce a nutrient-dense fruit even when the earth is dry. This is how it became known as The Tree of Life. It can have a lifespan of up to 5000 years. The trees grow in the wild and each is community owned.
